I couldn’t recommend this place more highly. Breakfasts are incredible. The rooms are lovely and the inn keepers are meticulous in every aspect of their service. They clearly love what they do. I can’t wait to go back.

"Warm and Gracious with Delicious Breakfasts! "

Coach Stop Inn provided clean, comfortable, and authentic Maine hospitality in a truly authentic cottage built circa 1806 for our four night stay visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. It's located right on Maine Route 3, a five minute drive to the park entrance and visitors center, and about ten minutes to Bar Harbor. A great jumping off point for any part of the island. Jim and Anna are warm, gracious, and unobtrusive hosts who prepare the most delicious breakfasts one can imagine. We and the other guests we spoke with at breakfast marveled at how we spent each day hiking, exploring, and being awestruck by Acadia's magic but always, in the backs of our minds, looking forward to the next day's breakfast. Highly recommend.

The property is comfortable, clean and well maintained. Location is perfect. Outside the hustle of Bar Harbor, but close enough to enjoy with a short ride.

My husband and I stayed here as the first stop on our wedding anniversary trip through New England, it was such a great location and breakfast was delicious and the bed was amazingly comfortable . We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great location to stay while visiting Bar Harbor.

First Class Inn with everything of a very high standard.Hosts Anna & Jim have thought to incorporate modern day Tech touches with comfortable rooms that are spacious and homely.This combined with producing breakfasts that are superb and lovely afternoon cookies/cakes also on offer make Coach Stop an excellent choice if visiting the Bar Harbor area.

Owners are very nice and accommodating. Refrigerator in rooms. Each day a homemade snack was available along with coffee, tea, and homemade hot cocoa mix. These little extra touches add so much to the experience.

We loved everything about it! Location was great- short drive to Acadia and the Main Street area in Bar Harbor. Breakfast was amazing! It was quiet and relaxing 😌
