Excellent hotel in Richmond, very comfortable with very personable and helpful staff. 15 minute or so walk down the hill to the centre of Richmond, delightful views of the river and park along the way. As first time visitors to the hotel we were very impressed and would definitely recommend to others, an ideal base to explore the local area!

The location. Proximity to town centre Tube connection to central London.

The cooked breakfast was disappointing, particularly the scrambled eggs. Not very hot and tasteless. We did not take breakfast the 2nd day

Staff were friendly and helpful, my room was beautifully decorated and immaculate, the bed was very comfortable, and breakfast buffet was generous.

Only that it sits atop a hill, so walking back from the town center or the Thames is all uphill. But I love how near it is to Richmond Park.

Richmond Hill Hotel benefits from a wonderful location atop Richmond Hill with the river Thames visible beyond. The hotel has wonderful facilities and all the staff are helpful and kind, We stay there about three times a year due to its easy access to London but Richmond itself is a lovely area with lots of nice shops, bars and restaurants.

Prime location with THE picture-postcard view from Richmond Hill! Absolutely loved the aesthetics, architecture and atmosphere of the building. Breakfast was worth adding as an extra - many appetising healthy options all presented beautifully. Attentive, friendly staff who took real pride in going the extra mile - special mention to Chris who made our birthday breakfast experience special. Reception staff enthused about the famous deer park which made us want to come back and do more! Sleep was blissful in a very well-designed room with thought given to all the little extras you could want.

We stayed as a birthday treat. It's at the top-end of budget - rightly so - but perhaps a loyalty discount would be great so we could be sure come back for future special occasions.
