Richmond Hill Hotel

Just a really lovely hotel. Brilliant location on Richmond Hill and a short walk from the town centre. Hotel room was spotlessly clean and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The bar and outside terrace are great too. Richmond is a lovely town and when we go back, we'll definitely book this hotel again.

Only criticism is that the room was a bit small, but other than that, no complaints. We were only there for two nights so wasn't a problem, but I don't think I'd have wanted to stay much longer without a bigger room.

My husband and I had a fantastic overnight stay while celebrating our birthdays. All of the staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. Our stay coincided with a heatwave, so it was a real pleasure to return to our comfortable, air-conditioned room after being out and about. The hotel is within easy walking distance of local amenities and parks, making it a great location. We will definitely be returning and would happily recommend it to others.

This is a very good hotel with comfortable rooms, welcoming and efficient staff, a substantial breakfast buffet and convenient parking on site. It is conveniently situated for walking (10-15 minutes) to some of Richmond's best restaurants.

The shower had only a partial screen, making it challenging to enjoy a shower without getting too much water on the bathroom floor. The plug in the basin was jammed open. Elements of the breakfast buffet had been over-thought: pre-mixed fruit, nuts and yogurt/tapioca/etc when it would have been better to allow the customer to make their own mixture. There was a 12.5 per cent service charge added to the price of breakfast when the service consisted only of being shown to a table and asked what we wanted to drink.

Lovely spot overlooking parks etc, lovely rooms with air condition which was wonderful as we were in Richmond in the heatwave. Restaurant on site, plus room service which we thoroughly enjoyed and nice walk to station, bus stop also short walk.

Its a 4 star hotel but 2 star service. The managers advice to remedy the poor service was that I should have booked a better 4 star or maybe 5 star hotel to get good service! I will be taking her advice.

Das Hotel liegt unfassbar schön, wir hatten ein Zimmer mit dem bekannten Themse-Blick. Die Einrichtung ist klassisch Englisch auf hohem Niveau. Das Hotel Personal ist auffallend freundlich. Wir haben häufiger in der Bar gegessen oder einen Drink genommen, dort war es auch sehr, sehr schön. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

The location, staff, cleanliness and the restaurant were all exceptional.
