the Weekend

Our 3 night stay at The Weekend was amazing. Our room was fabulous. Located within walking distance to restaurants, and in a part of Palm Springs that was wonderful to walk around (close to The Kaufman House and Frank Sinatra's House). The room was impeccably clean, the bed was comfortable, and the little extras, like the coffee machine were great. The ambience outside in the pool area was wonderful. Nice background music and the pool was great. The manager Ava was delightful. Most obliging with tips for restaurants, etc. Palm Springs was our last stop after five weeks in the USA and we certainly saved the best to last. Great value compared to other hotels also. Do yours favor and stay at The Weekend!!

As French tourists, we love the picture postcard setting, the Californian feeling. Thanks to the owner Mark for his welcome and for enabling us to check in early- giving us a free upgrade to enable that. Top decoration and quality everywhere.

The “kitchen” was not a full kitchen. There’s no stove. Don’t book this property thinking you’ll be able to make anything other than using a microwave. No note pad or pen. The staff (hotel manager) was very unfriendly, no place to put dog bags. No one to contact after 3:54 PM Monday- Friday… Ava was out the door. Overall it was clean with nice aesthetic appeal but that’s about it.

I found The Weekend when our Air bnb cancelled and honestly could not have been happier. There has obviously been a lot of effort put into the style, it’s fabulously Palm Springs retro glam. Our room was great, big King bed with a very comfortable mattress, the water pressure in the shower was excellent and the air conditioning hit the right temperature. The bathroom products were L’Occitane which was also a lovely touch. It was very cool in Palm Springs but was so happy the pool was heated, such a nice way to end the day. The hotels location is on the outskirts of downtown with restaurants and coffee nearby. We walked to downtown restaurants and it took 15 minutes. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Stay was much better than I expected. Nice design, clean, home-like vibe (I do not like heavy-handed hotel chains). The pool is heated and that was a bonus. We were with kids, it is kids-friendly.

Early Summer visit to the desert in May. Reserved and stayed in the Premiere one bedroom suite for a week. Very cute, nostalgic design with a secluded, private patio. Conveniently located near many restaurants and shops. Having access to your own kitchen is always a perk when craving leftovers for late night or early meals. Parking our own car was very convenient and hotel was not busy. We even had extra time to visit and try our luck at a couple of casinos nearby.

We loved our stay at The Weekend. We were a group of 6 women and rented 2 two bedroom suites. It was so nice to have two bathrooms in each suite for getting ready. The hotel is small and quiet. This is not a party hotel. We hardly saw the other guests! Great spot to walk to local coffee shops and restaurants in town. Everything was clean and modern. We would all definitely stay here again!

Everything excellent,,,quiet and nice decoration room....pool and patio were beautiful ...close to downtown and palmsprings tramway...they are dog friendly hotel also ...if you have a dog they have bowl for food and toys and treats and the bed for them... I'll be coming back 100%

We had one of the two bedroom suites and it was very nicely furnished with all of the essentials in the kitchen to serve snacks. The private terrace in the back is a very nice touch. The communication prior to check-in and during the stay was perfect. The management is lovely and kept our cold items for us after check-out so that we could go to brunch before our departure. I will absolutely stay here again. Just a note: this is a family friendly hotel which isn't always the case in Palm Springs. Totally fine for me but worth noting.

We loved the Weekend and will stay again! We had a stylish, roomy suite stocked with plenty of coffee/creamer, L'Occitane bath products, and comfy, velvety bed linens. Attached to the bedroom was a sunny, fully furnished patio with giant succulents. The common courtyard had a small heated pool that we enjoyed. The property was quiet and felt very private and cozy.
