Kasbah ATFEL

It’s very peaceful and the gardens are beautiful. There is a good swimming pool. The hotel is kept very clean. Madame’s cooking is excellent! The staff are responsive to all requests and Madame puts you in touch with an excellent driver if you want to go to Marrakesh or on a trip. The views of the Atlas Mountains are stunning. The Anima gardens (about 15 mins by car) are a great place to visit, with a good cafe.

Our room was huge and spacious with heating so it was very comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the onsite cat very charming! Aesthetically, the Kasbah is impressive to look at very grand and the interiors are smart.

We booked to use the spa and hamam, jacuzzi and were told it was closed during winter. This should be added to their website. The staff do not speak any English which we got by with using Google translate. Finally, the dinner was not good - over boiled chicken and vegetables in a tagine with no flavour and very mushy. We had to go out for dinner the following night and I think if you we were there more than three nights this would become annoying given the remote location.
