Lemongrass Hostel

The staff and volunteers by far make this place the most peaceful haven to stay. The location is excellent and the decor throughout created a great energy which made my stay there 10/10. I contacted the property in advance with a personal matter and they responded extremely fast and ensured I was taken care of. I would recommend this property to anyone!!

Lovely 'old school' style of hostel! Small, with staff that actually talks to you and in no time you will walk in and out as if you were home. The building is well thought with plenty places to chill (terrace outside, living room, large fully equipped kitchen). In a moment where most of hostels in Europe are 'modern' super polished places, it was quite inspiring to stay here! The female dorm was spacious, you have a locker (and they provide the lock) to keep your belongings, balcony. There are two shared toilets just next to the room (so really convenient). The room has a ceiling fan (no AC). There is a few parking spots (3-4 spaces) in front of the hostel, so if you are renting a car, this is quite convenient. The area is mostly residential, I havent explored much, but felt safe and quiet.

You should not expect luxury in a budget price hostel. Overall it was a pleasant stay, shared kitchen and chatty staff really made my stay. The only two things to refer is if you are sensitive to heat, not having AC can make sleeping a bit challenging in the hot summer months and the cleaning standard could be improved.

The best hostel in Cyprus

The owner of the hostel is a very open and friendly person. He is always present in the hostel and immediately responds to any requests. The hostel is very clean, there are many places on the territory where you can sit, chat and work. There are two bathrooms, which are almost always free. All rooms have lockers. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The sea and the embankment are 15 minutes walk away. A large food court with many inexpensive cafes of different cuisines is a 10-minute walk away - it is called Agora.

The room with 4 beds is very small and there is no personal space.

The room was really small, this was the room for 4 people. It had a door to the garden, a door to the communal area and the windows to the noisy road. I have slept 3 hrs, as the hostel is full of young party people and they were still laughing, and being loud at 2-3am. I booked and paid for 2 nights, but I immediately left after the first night. I case you want to sleep more than 3 hrs then this is not your place to be.

Amazing place! I felt so safe like never before at hostels! Owner - is so cute! He’s like a family member 🤍 I will back for sure! This place has my heart..🤍

The hosts, all three girls were extremely pleasant and helpful with every question I had. The atmosphere and the stay in the hostel are exceptional. Hygiene, which I pay the most attention to, impeccable. All compliments.
