"Motel trying to appear more than it is with a bug issue."

It had a large Jacuzzi tub. The outside of the property is really cute.

When I drove in, there were several people who appeared not to be guests hanging out behind the property near the trash area, which made me uncomfortable. I was initially given an upgraded room, but it faced the street with two low windows, which didn’t feel safe as a solo traveler. I requested a different room and was moved to one that felt more secure. Before bed, I found a large spider on the wall, which I had to remove. The next morning, I discovered what appeared to be small bug carcasses on the bed near where I had been sleeping, which was very unsettling and led me to cut my trip short. At checkout, there was no staff present—only a bowl to leave the key. I called multiple times and was unable to reach anyone for several hours before finally speaking with someone to report the issue. Additionally, I was concerned about a posted $25 resort fee, as I understood all charges to be included through Booking.com. While I did later receive an itemized receipt showing no extra charges, the lack of clarity added to the overall negative experience.
