Principe Real Balcony by Homing

It’s specious but the property could have be remodeled. The power outlet in the living room is pulled out of the wall which could be very dangerous for small children. The management could be a little more generous to provide guests with more than one washing pod. We stayed for 3 nights and they were only willing to give just one pod for washing clothes. There were only 4 hangers for the three of us. Basic toiletries like shampoo and body wash are not included. This is the only place I’ve come across that not willing to provide these basic items. Also the communication was terrible. They never reply messages via the Expedia app. The only way is through WhatsApp. I tried to call them once but they sent me a text message saying they were busy with another guest and will call me back but never.

Good proce good location, but is a little bit annoying having to look for the keys in another place

Everything was very nice. The people in Homing were very organized and you could leave your baggage with them. Only sad thing is that the coffee machine doesn't work, and as mentioned before the waste of water is sad. Otherwise very clean and professional.

Location was good.

There was absolutely nothing in the kitchen for making anything even some simple food. There was no enough toilet paper, no any toiletries. Shameful

Apartment is a great central location.

Could not get in contact with staff the entirety of our stay. We we told we would get a clean mid stay including washing up and to contact them when we would like it but got no response from multiple messages and calls. No cleaning products are provided to do our own washing up or wash laundry when there is a washing machine which is really frustrating and disappointing. We waited on the street with all our bags for almost an hour when we checked in even though we had told the staff what time we would be arriving multiple times. We were still charged a late arrival fee. Whole apartment and communal stairs and hallway smell extremely strongly of cigarette smoke from a neighbouring apartment. The picture of the chairs and table is also not on the balcony provided only the swing chair which is a bit disappointing if you are expecting this.

For me the place was at a great location; near the dance club Construction (only a few steps away).

The appartment is located near Baixa, with its many bars and restaurants. In the near a small supermarket Miniprecio can be found, bus (5mn) and metro (10mn) are in the near. The apartment provides many accommodations, like a washing machine or a toaster. Table, chairs, furnitures are provided and in very acceptable state. Bed room and pillows are very good. Bed sheets are clean and 'smell fresh', Kitchen is clean, first days supplies provided (except for washing machine), this is really appreciable! Homing as a company is a good business partner, and its system sends clear emails (e.g. Complete address, Wifi information is provided in the confirmation email, nice touch!). Welcome Center workers are helpful.

Stores are OLD, not maintained, not functioning or not fully as expected. This problem is known since more than one year. Wait at least three months after this review if you may have a problem with it. The ventilation of the apartment is somehow coupled with the neighbor's apartment. And the neighbor smokes a lot. Bath room is small, and would 'appreciate some refresh' (other comments are more explicit). We recommend to read clearly the Homing emails and apartment description. Some Homing employee called the day before we travel and insistently request that we come at 13:00 to get the key. Lisbon welcome center denied this as they provide the keys only starting 15:00, as explicitly written in the description.
