Allt var toppen. Hit åker vi gärna tillbaka.

L’atmosfera del hostel al mig del bosc, l’amabilutat del personal, el foc a terra, els banys, el cel clar a les nit, l’esmorzar petitó però m’ha encantar, també deixen marfegues per fer ioga, una habitació amplia i vistes al bosc

No depèn del hostel, però el risc per ossos va fer que no poguéssim gaudir de l’onsen exterior. Fins i tot ens ho varen compensar amb un gelat!

It was clean and bed was comfy.

The hotel itself was okay - clean and well maintained. However, the main attraction advertised was the beautiful outdoor onsen, which turned out to be closed upon arrival due to the presence of a bear. While I completely understand the safety reason, I strongly feel I should have been informed about this beforehand. Because of the terrible weather, there wasn’t much else to do, and had I known the onsen would be unavailable, I simply wouldn’t have come - even without a refund. Overall, I left feeling dissatisfied.

Amazing stay! The staff was very friendly, the whole place is nice and clean, simple but well decorated and comfortable, plus the private onsen was great after a day of hiking around or first thing in the morning. The breakfast bagel was also delicious!

Unfortunately, due to bears having been spotted on the surrounding area, we couldn’t use the outdoor bath, which we were looking forward to. The staff provided us with coupons for a local café nearby as compensation, and the indoor onsen turned out to be great as well, so no big deal at all! We’ll use it next time!
