Racpanos Modern Stay on Union Street

Pésima experiencia, favor de no cometer el error de hospedarse aquí, el lugar sumamente sucio, pésima ubicación, inseguro, 2 veces encontré gente drogándose en la entrada y Expedia no me resolvió el problema, simplemente dijeron que no había devolución de dinero por políticas. Pero es un lugar poco confiable NO RECOMENDABLE, RUIDOSO.

Don‘t book. It‘s not a hotel. If it exists at all, it’s a private accomodation in a private residential. We went there for check-in exactly at the right time given from the hotel and couldn‘t find it under the address. No sign, no bell, nobody picked up the phone for 30 min. We called Expedia. They couldn‘t reach the reception neither. Telephone number was in a different area code. Google showed another address under the name and it was the same problem. The neighborhood didn‘t look save. I was happy that I was with a friend in this situation. Expedia offered a relocation. So we decided not to wait longer and finally didn‘t stay there. We asked for cancellation as we simply couldn’t check-in. But the accomodation refused the cancellation. They claimed we used the reservation! Additionally the price calculation was very strange, the tax was higher than the rate for the night. Expedia didn‘t see any problem here (I called them before I booked, because I thought it might be a mistake). I travel a lot and never had such kind of problems before and I didn’t expect it in Jersey City. Still fighting to get my money and my bonus points back.
