Arbatax Park Resort - Cottage

We are USA and traveling with older parents. We picked this due to proximity to Ocean side of Gennargentu National Park hikes. We have been to Italy many times and never have experienced a large, many options Resort. We lucked out and were in the Cottage area (close to the beach, larger, better breakfast). The place has snorkeling, kayak, SUP, many beach areas with bars, all neatly coordinated with the surroundings. They bought the entire tip of a peninsula and developed it all at once. No cars. You walk short distances and take the BoBoi for longer. They have an outdoor weight lifting area, tennis, kid pool area, fun showed every night. We had free breakfast and paid for supper. the food was outstanding only at the cottage area (25€) - (one other area was very average (20€). Instead of eating in town, we stayed on site it was so delicious and beautiful. Check-in was efficient, but a bit bewildering as we didn't know how large the resort was (after a few hours of getting settled in we loved the size). It was quiet in areas and hopping in areas - you choose. (We find they don't weed the gardens in Sardinia very well, however, the plantings where extensive. We loved our experience. I might avoid peak season (we were there in September)

THE RESORT is very isolated and difficult to navigate unless you have a car. We did have a car but cannot be used onsite and the on site transportation is lengthy. There is no beach to speak of but a rocky beach not convenient to kids. We reserved a 2-bed rooms Cottage by the water at about 700 euros at night. The accommodations were just ok for the price but the most terrible things is that the air conditioning broke every night. The managers did nothing to solve the problem or unwilling to supply any kind of fans. With 100 degrees temperatures going to sleep was impossible. On the last night, we lost power altogether and the management response was: "we can give you a spa voucher"..Really? we are leaving and we are offered a SPA voucher?

Si vous aimez le style "resort " vous aimerez... les buffets, le monde et les activités proposées. Le lieu est agréable propre et verdoyant. Le staff accueillant et dispo. Moi c'est pas mon truc!

Servicen var bra. Stort område och många pooler. Den tropiska barnpoolen var jättefin. Små steniga stränder vid hotellet men 10 minuter därifrån fanns längre sandstränder. Det sämsta var att aircon på rummet lät som ett tröskverk på nätterna oavsett hur msn försökte ställa in den. Sängarna var fruktansvärt hårda. Vi hörde gäser be om filtar att ligga på för att försöka göra det mjukare. En annan nedsida var att det bara fanns bufférestauranger, ingen a la carte.

We expected tranquillity and some privacy. We did not know this place was a charter hotel so we were very surprised when we arrived. Helpful staff made sure we got our money back so we left the first day. Surroundings was almost as pictured online. Really picturesque. but the beaches we tried was not suited for small children. Thank you to staff which was understanding and helpful.

Un entorno maravilloso, buena atención, buena comida. Solo mencionar la presencia de muchas avispas en el comedor, aunque al ser un espacio abierto, entiendo que es inevitable. En general, para repetir.

Die Hotelanlage ist sehr idyllisch gelegen. Da die Gärtner während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts direkt vor unserer Unterkunft an Bäumen gesägt haben, liess die Ruhe etwas zu wünschen übrig. Alle beschriebenen Restaurants bieten nur Buffets an. Da dies nicht unseren Vorstellungen entsprach, mussten wir auf Eigenversorgung umsteigen. Das Städtchen war zu Fuss für einen Ausflug zum Nachtessen einfach zu weit weg. Die Animation war teilweise etwas zu aufdringlich. Die gesamte Konsumation (auch Kiosk) wird über eine Zahlkarte, welche nur mit Bargeld geladen werden kann, abgewickelt. Dumm nur, wenn der einzige Geldautomat - ganz unten beim Haupteingang - nicht funktioniert. Die Strände und die Poolanlagen sind einwandfrei und sehr zu empfehlen. Dafür, dass man sein eigenes Fahrzeug im Eingangsbereich zurücklassen muss, hat es extrem viel Verkehr mit Mofas, Golfcarts, Autos und Pickups vom Personal und das den ganzen Tag. Das WLAN Signal kam nicht bis zu unserem Cottage, deshalb mussten wir unsere Infos jeweils während dem Morgenessen oder an der Hotelbar holen.

Had a lovely time at Arbatax with my family (2 young kids). Swimmingpools are great and food was very good. Although salads and vegetables remained the same, there were different pastas, meat and fish dishes every night. The house wine you get with the meal is also really nice. Overall a great holiday and will be back.

We had rooms with sea view and then you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea. The garden is nice landscaped and the hotel has privates coves and a sand beach which makes swimming a wonderful experience. The hotel has several pools for people preferring not to swim in the sea. For families with children there are lots of activities. The hotel is very family friendly. Food was nice and diversified. Also the spa is very nice and the therapists were very professional and friendly. I found the staff very friendly, speaking multiple languages and very attentive.

We have really enjoyed staying in this hotel. I have stayed with my wife. The staff was very helpful. There was wide variety of food and most of the dishes were very delicious. The room was not very special (we had classic room) but tidy. You can find many activities here such as stand up paddle, tennis, table tennis, football, archery, spa, gym and more. Territory of the hotel is very large, there is a wonderful natural park with amazing seascapes.
