Family Batcave Homestay

Charmerende familie på landet, lige ved siden af flagermusegrotten. Skøn oase hvis man er indstillet på at strøm og vand kan mangle periodevis. Dejlig og enkel mad! Bedste mango jeg nogensinde har smagt. Gratis vand. Fin kaffebiks på første hjørne indenfor 100 meter. Folk er generelt virkelig søde og imødekommende.

I cannot agree with the other reviews. Yes, it's like a proper homestay, but at the same time there are so many people staying there that there is no "living with the family" feeling. Also, as is normal, it's relatively loud with that many people/ a big family. Either people drinking and or watching videos on their phone on full volume. Also, for the same price we had a 4 star hotel with a pool on Siam reap before.

Great homestay, great location (walking distance to the bat cave). Saro is a great host who welcomed us into his home. His wife is a great cook and we felt at home, which was just lovely! I was a little worried about how we’d sleep with no air con (as it was baking!) but the fan worked really well and we had a great nights sleep. I highly recommend this homestay.

What a wonderful place to stay! Located in a rural setting just 10 minutes walk from the bat cave this is a real gem. There is a range of accommodation to suit all types and the family go out of their way to look after you and make your stay special. There is plenty to see in the area on foot, or tour options can be arranged, or you can explore Battambang City via a 20 minute tuk tuk ride. This is a village homestay where you can experience warm and generous Cambodian hospitality, we learnt a lot and I loved the incredible bats! 🦇

Loved being so close to the bat cave. It was nice to stay in a tent, which was very clean. The hosts and family were lovely and they cooked us some amazing food and were very kind to help us arrange transport to and from the homestay.

Alles was prima. Enkel door de hoge temperaturen (36gr C) was het moeilijk de kamer fris genoeg te krijgen met de ventilator.
