I booked 22 Summits for 4 days of skiing, after much browsing on Booking.com. There were several available choices in Zermatt. You can never be sure whether your choice will live up to your expectations. I have to say, 22 Summits exceeded my expectations! The location was perfect. The hotel is short walk from the main lifts and home run. Yet also only a 10 minute walk from the centre of Zermatt, with its bars, shops and restaurants. The hotel is beautifully designed. Rustic and modern. Stylish and cosy. Not too big. Excellent boot room for damp skis and boots. A locker for each room. One of the best features of the hotel is the Spa. A beautifully designed area on two floors. A luxury outdoor Jacuzzi. 3 saunas, a relaxation room, an area for showering and making herbal teas. All stylish, quiet with mood lighting. Brilliant for recovering after a hard days skiing. The breakfast is perfect. The lounge and bar area is great. The rooms are well equipped. We were upgraded to a room with a terrace and a great view. To top it all, the staff were helpful, relaxed and professional. The first night we treated ourselves to the fine dining experience in the dining room. Expensive (this is Zermatt), but excellent. Overall, a superb boutique hotel. I’d book again if returning to Zermatt. Thanks to all the staff at the 22 Summits hotel! Ed

The property is like a boutique hotel, amazingly located and very close to one of the main lifts. Rooms were nice and spacious with balcony facing the mystic Matterhorn. The staff were always pleasant and helpful and the breakfast is very good.

Gym could be better and the sauna more humid!

Stayed for a week. Staff were amazing! The hotel is small however you could not get a better position with the most amazing Matterhorn views!. The spa is fantastic after a day skiing. The hotel is a really short walk to the town centre. Defnitely recommend using the hotel ski partners, great service, fantastic top level ski equipment and they drop off and pick up your skis too! I will visit again. Only small negative is that the rooms are probably getting a bit tired!
