Gaurishankar is the best hostel I've ever stayed at. We've been here for a month now and this place feels like home for us. The people here are amazingly nice and feel like family, they help with everything and make sure you feel very welcome. We also love the dogs, Kali and Leo, who hang around us all the time now :). The rooms are very clean, spacious and the hostel is very social. I've never made such good friends for such a long time in a hostel (that is something very important to me when traveling). Overall it's just perfect in every sense, a nice bar with good food, good breakfast, nice cookies, clean hangout areas, nice hammocks and a really cool vibe. We could ask any questions and would always be helped in the best way, it's a very personal experience. We also got really nice recommendations for everything! Special thanks to Denis,Sonu,Kuldeep,Kajal,Sabitri,Neema for making our stay the most perfect it could have been, we are going to miss you.

Private bedroom was clean and comfortable

While the hostel was okay in some aspects, the Mix dorm bathroom experience was not good at all. The toilet was not flushing properly, which made using the bathroom inconvenient and unpleasant. On top of that, there was no shampoo or soap provided, so I had to manage without basic amenities. Another issue was privacy. The dorm room doesn’t have proper privacy there are no curtains or room dividers so it feels exposed and uncomfortable, especially when you want to change or relax.
