"Nice stay"

Even though this beach is in Golden Bay it is not an idyllic Golden Sand Beach as described. It is a nice beach but very rocky. We stayed in the cabins which were clean and tidy but the deck was miserable.

Close to beach

Didn’t get the room I paid for. Staff ignore you Not flexible or interested to help Very expensive for something the was build very cheap

"Expensive for what facilities were provided"

On the beach

The blocked toilets and the smell of sewage twice. The shower in the toilet and shower block had no pressure and was very short inspite of all the money I put in. Our cabins were next to the dump and bad odours came out at times. Cabins were small and no were comfortable to sit to relax. Only 1 TV channel in main shared facility.

"Was nice week over Christmas with family."

It's a beautiful place, nice and quiet. They went to a lot of effort to make Christmas Day fun, especially for the children. Clean and good facilities

Friendlier attitude from manageress. Cabins were no longer as depicted on website. We asked about taking a second cabin next door and were told it was booked but no one ever turned up.

"Peaceful, and perfect"

Everything! It’s a stunning spot right by the beach. The hosts are just wonderful. They made sure I was all set up to watch RWC and fed me a whitebait sandwich! Just a delightful pleasureable place to stay. Will be back!
