Staff were nice. Easy check in. Nice campgound.

Unfortunately the shower and bathroom were very dated and in desperate need of a renovation. The shower wall was peeling off onto the ground. The windows were jammed and hard to open and the place smelt very mouldy.

Loved the glimpse of the beach from our lounge and how close we were to beach access. If I were staying again, I would request Apartment 4, if available.

Not sure if we were doing it right or if there was an issue with the starting mechanism but we couldn't get the barbecue to light.

Facilities were clean enough, close proximity to the beach is great.

Unfriendly staff. When we reached the holiday park after 7 hours of travel, the check in staff were more interested in shooing off people visiting the beach than checking us in. In the middle of the check in process, she left for several minutes to shoo visitors away. Very not pleasant to talk to as well.

Great little holiday park in a serene location. The kitchen is large and clean, and was impressed by the showers. Just bear in mind that the cabins have no sound proofing so if you have noisy neighbours that could disturb you.

It was close to the beach. Bed was comfortable. We could do laundry.

For the money we paid it was very poor value for money. The bathroom was tiny and the hot water was barely enough for 2 quick showers. It wasn’t close to anything else … I should have researched the location better and probably stayed in Takaka over this area.
