Cora's Cabins

I was surrounded by beautiful scenery, and it was amazing!! Cabin was very homey, i did not want to leave.

It was a beautiful cozy cabin. Has a very home away from home feel to it. Kids want to go back for a longer stay.

Great setting in the woods (although adjacent cabins were visable) fire pit, barbque grill and sitting area were nice. A small issue with some of the plumbing detracted from the comfort even though it was a nice, cozy cabin.

This place is fabulous. We plan to return often. The Rays welcomed us as though we were family and made sure we had every comfort and items we needed. We have never experienced such a welcome. The location was restful, quiet, clean, and adventuresome. If you like to fish. Two ponds are stocked with bass. Down the road about a mile is a beautiful State park, and up the road about a mile is a big cat and wild animal preserve/retirement village to tour. And anout 10 minutes south is the bustling city of Tyler, Tx. I would recommend this to anyone, but I don't want it to get so busy they're booked all the time.

It was very quite and peaceful. A great place to relax.

We knew this was going to be a rustic cabin, it was. Pretty clean and quiet. We arrived on time, but the housekeeping wasn't completely finished. It didn't take very long to finish it, but it should have been done by check-in. A nice respite from virus dodging.

i stayed at The Barn Loft and its located away from the other cabins, down the road a bit, next to the keepers house. it was a very comfortable, peaceful, fun stay. my brother rented TheLazySquirral cabin and we visited Tyler State Park for a swim and then had a bonfire at the cabin. i don't have any complaints. thank you so much!

We arrived at the property but it wasn't very clear where to go. The phone number was listed on the sign but we didnt have phone service. Thankfully another guest let us use their phone. The owner answered promptly and directed us. When they say the Barn, they really mean the barn. The room is nestled in the middle of a barn. The barn is rented out for events and the kitchen is the events kitchen. It was not well furnished and not that clean. The sink had been washed out but that was about it. While the bathroom and bedroom were clean enough, the sheets and towels wreaked of Gain detergent and there were candles and Glade in the bathroom. It was hard to sleep with the overpowering smell. The ceiling is slanted and hard to maneauver in the dark and you have to pass the stairwell to get to thw bathroom. The bathroom was the nicest part. Great water pressure and spacious shower. Also, the grounds are nice and peaceful and you can walk around. The owner was very friendly and we enjoyed the grounds but we wouldnt stay again.
