Buck's Homestead B&B

We had a wonderful stay at Joan’s. Our bedroom and bathroom were comfortable and clean, breakfasts were hearty and delicious, and lots of good hiking, eating and shopping nearby.

We had a lot of fan in this place. Clear nice old house with a lot of character. Breakfast was amazing. Delicious, great presentation and creativity.

The host, Joan, is warm, friendly and accommodating!

Joan is an amazing host and creates a charming, welcoming atmosphere. Her meals are delicious and the breakfasts with other guests provides a wonderful venue for socialization. This bed and breakfast is her childhood home and a former dairy farm, and in the rooms you will find a small photo book about life here in the 50s and 60s, be sure to read it and ask Joan about the history of this place and the town, you will be glad you did.

Beautiful old farmhouse. Room and bathroom was spacious and clean. Lots of interesting trinkets around the room and house. Joan was very friendly and attentive. She makes a lovely breakfast and accommodates for food allergies. FYI There are 3 house cats roaming the public spaces so anyone with allergy to cats may want to consider staying elsewhere.

Joan is a great host providing all the amenities you need plus amazing breakfast. Bathrooms are not en-suite but close by to room. Very charming

I would highly recommend anyone traveling through Orange County, especially the Montgomery NY area to stay with Joan at Buck's Homestead B & B. We were welcomed with chocolate chip cookies. The queen bed was the most comfortable bed that I have slept in, besides my own, in quite a while. It was quiet, peaceful and the most relaxing place we could of ever picked to stay. Joan serves the most delicious breakfasts in the morning, and even send use home with a travel goody bag. I will be staying there again when we travel down and will be telling all of my family and friends who are traveling to the area to call and reserve a room there, it was so much more comfortable then a hotel, it felt like we were actually in our own home.

Joanne was an incredible host and her breakfast says were awesome. Her cats were very nice I didn’t get to use the pool but it was very inviting. Great local restaurants and just a charming place to stay.
