Domaine De La Bretesche

Problème de réservation chambre: nous avons dû attendre > 1h à 18h pour savoir quelle chambre nous était attribuée. Réveil par les souris dans le grenier au dessus de nos têtes à 6h le matin

Superbe endroit, très gentils, la piscine top, le Spa et les restaurants. Agréable la promenade autour du lac

Charmant hôtel mais avec deux défauts : le prix des plats au clubhousse sont excessifs pour la qualité offerte et la télévision n'offre pas les chaînes Canal+ et donc Golf+ (ce qui paraître surprenant pour un hôtel implanté sur un superbe golf).

The setting and buildings are stunning! The breakfast was excellent. However, on the downside there was mold around the tub. Not acceptable for a hotel of this price. The worst was the fact that they do not accommodate the guests for meals other than breakfast. We were there 2 night and were told both days that the restaurant was "fully booked" both nights. They have another smaller restaurant and they told us they were only offering less than 1/2 the menu. All they were offering was something we didn't eat. It is not as if we could run across the street to another restaurant since they are in a pretty remote location.

The Hotel & Spa de la Bretesche is an wonderful place of calm in the countryside of Bretagne. The setting is beautiful, encompassing a lake, a golf course, forest, a pool, a tennis court, and a chateau. There are bicycles available, and well marked trails to follow to enjoy nature. The hotel pays attention to every detail, beginning with being personally escorted to your room and given an overview of all of the surroundings. Our room was spacious, yet cozy, with turn down service and warm biscuits delivered every night. There are also cottages. The spa included an indoor pool big enough to actually swim, and a sauna. We used the location as a base to explore the region, but it is such a lovely place it needn't be supplemented with anything else to make it a wonderful destination.

As Domaine de la Bretesche is part of the R&C group we expected a high standard in every aspect, and we were certainly not be disappointed. The food is outstanding, but then the fact that the chef holds a Michelin star tells you that. The rooms are spacious,well equipped and very comfortable and the facilities are superb, in particular the outside pool. All this is to be expected from a R&C property but what set this one apart, in our experience, were the staff. Everyone, from the Director (who personally meets the guests at some point in their stay) the chef and managers, to the room stewards, waiting staff and gardeners, was friendly and engaging at all times. In fact, we never saw an unhappy looking member of staff. Thank you all for making our long weekend one of the most relaxing breaks we can remember for a very long time.

We had a fantastic two-day stay at Bretesche Hotel & Spa, and we can definitely recommend this hotel. The hotel is super cozy with a lovely park and a view over Chateau de la Bretesche.

Très beau et calme. Personnel très gentil. En particulier, alors que j'avais réservé par Hotels.com qui n'avait pas bien confirmé la réservation (première fois que ça m'arrive), ils m'ont surclassé suite à la confirmation d'hotels.com sans me demander de frais supplémentaires. Choix de deux restaurants et très bon petit déjeuner.
