Great location and beautifully designed. Some elements are starting to show their age and could use from TLC.

A charming boutique hotel with a lovely staff in a great location. People should know there is no elevator ( tho the staff was very helpful with our suitcases). Some design flaws in our room: you have to walk thru the shower to get to the toilet (potentially slippery ), overhead nightlights high up and hard to reach the switch, interior steps in the room that require attentive walking. No closet or drawer space. One side of the bed (very comfortable otherwise) against the wall. Overall chic, welcoming, but some impractical features in the rooms.

Great staff and facilities

During the day, The Annex area is quirky and interesting with tonnes of very good graffiti art. But, there was no place close or open for breakfast and I’m not sure I’d want to stray too far from the hotel after dark. But there are tonnes of restaurants nearby for dinners.

Lovely place

As other reviewers have mentioned, this place is loud. I have lived in large cities my whole life and like to think I can handle a lot of noise, but The Annex is ridiculous. There was a dj blaring music until midnight on a Sunday, making my floor and bed vibrate with bass until the event was over. Then the hallway noise started early the next morning. There is no insulation. I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend this hotel to anyone. On the plus side, the beds are comfortable.

At no fault of the hotel, others staying on our floor were very loud at night. Found some garbage left behind in our room.

Very modern and nice

Beautiful rooms and great location.
