Hotel Casa Frida

Great location, just a long block from the Plaza de Armas. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and even though we were on a busy street with a balcony, it was restful and fairly quiet. The rooftop was very nice as well. Check-in and out was super easy. I would definitely stay here again.

The WiFi was a bit spotty, sometimes really struggling to work and other times fine. The AC was great, although the temperature setting doesn't match the room temperature. Bedside lights and an outlet to plug in the phone would be nice.

Our room was sad, windowless, and depressing. There was a hose leading to a plastic bottle in one corner that collected water from the a/c that overfilled and ran out on the floor and soaked our clothes. The faucet was loose. The woman at the door barely looked at us. I can’t believe it was rated excellent.
