Shin Shin Hotel Cheonjiyeon

The location is perfect for walk to the Ollae market and many eateries around. A 24 hr, 7/11 right opposite the hotel and bus stop for buses like 281. The breakfast was buffet style (7-9.30 am) and very good incorporating more Korean and enough western options. The staff were friendly, informative and helped when asked. The carpark is small but there is free public parking available outside and 1 min walk from the hotel as well.

There is no separation of shower area and toilet, water sprinkles everywhere.

First was the view from the terrace, the Hallasan Mountain, was great. The room is clean and modern and the same is true for the bathroom. The toilet seat is heated, with automatic flush and bidet which I actually did not expect the room to have given the price we have paid. The location is also ideal as it is beside the bus stop and nearby Seogwipo Market and many other attractions in the city. Everything is accessible.

Nothing to dislike about the place.

Staff are polite and understand English though i recommend you write down instructions instead of verbal. In front are coin wash, cafe, 7-11. If u walk, can go to adjacent food street but mostly is griiled meat restaurants. Parking you must come back early to hotel like 4-5pm, else free parking nearby hotel you have to find yourself. Hot and cold water disoenser and a microwave at lobby is available.

Tap water kettle in triple room is not working well, tap water boiled tasted funny too. Door banged hard everytime we open/close not gently, so you get a shock. No Aircon, staff says no AC in this weather. As a result i got mozzie bites in my first night there. Strangely though in winter....they did a pest control quickly when i requested.
