Property Notes

We would like to inform that we are integrating new rooms and an Artist Residency towards the back of the hotel. It is important to highlight that this adaptation is happening outside the building in order to minimize dust that could affect daily operations. These modifications take place from 10am to 7pm, so your daily nocturnal rest at Orchid House is guaranteed. We would also like to communicate that our restaurant and rooms function in entire normality. This will finish at the end of April. (April 30th, 2020). If you have any concerns or questions, please let us know.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Lovely boutique property, Stayed in the room with two double beds - this room has very limited space outside of the beds. It’s not possible to open your suitcase unless you put it up on the bed - outside of this it’s a lovely hotel, great location & lovely staff.

The Orchid House is a beautiful boutique hotel in a lovely Mexico City neighborhood. There are live orchids all over the central area that are really beautiful! The room is nice sized with a beautiful and well stocked bathroom. The breakfast in the patio cafe was also very nice.

El desayuno incluido es muy rico, las opciones a la carta en general son de muy buena calidad y excelente sabor. El servicio del staff, es muy cordial. La ambientación del hotel es muy acogedora, y la ubicación del hotel es ideal para conocer la ciudad caminando. Sin duda una gran opción.

El servicio del masaje, definitivamente es improvisado. No hay un lugar específico para tomarlo, por lo que no favorece a lo que normalmente se ofrecen en los entornos para poder relajarse, y aunque tenían muy buena actitud los terapeutas, no los sentimos con experiencia. Considero que para la promoción del servicio que hace el hotel, debería de buscar mejorar la experiencia o mejor omitirla.

La ubicación, la seguridad de la zona. Estaba limpio.

Me parece overpriced para lo que ofrecen. Las habitaciones son oscuras, pequeñas, el agua no sale con mucha potencia…. El personal de la recepción muy amable pero una de las chicas de la cafetería muy desagradable la verdad.

Its charming, cozy and well located, very safe,

The place it’s a 5 star and doesn’t offer a good hairdryer and bottle water I had diarrhoea everyday. Also they don’t put a gluten free option of breakfast o had to ask for a change because they wanted to charge me. On my arrival they wanted me to carry my luggage’s up the stairs to the room. Absolutely non sense and I have a bad back problem. The tours I asked them to book was at least 5x more than the tours booked by booking or other places
