North Zen Villas

Thank you for making my 48th Birthday a Memorable One..We booked a Villa room and we all had Fun..See yah next time🤍

The Villas are beautiful and the bamboo walk is quite a treat. The pool was fantastic and open as late as 10pm. Breakfast was delicious and conveniently served at the Villas.

It doesn't have access to the Beach and many of the advantages you get from staying at North Zen, such as beach access and structure, tennis court, Gym, free paddle and kayak are actually provided in their partner resort Oceanic, 20 minutes away. They could, at least, provide the shuttle to get to Oceanica. Regarding the room, I've booked a 2 bedroom villa with 4 beds and sofa bed, but the sofa bed was actually just a sofa and I ended up paying 200usd more for an extra bed.

We had the private pool villa and it was fantastic. Lots of privacy and a great room.

The place is quite far from restaurants and beaches, but it’s an easy tuk tuk ride.

Loved our stay at North Zen, the staff were friendly & helpful. The resort is great, very well maintained pool area and good sized rooms. A highlight for me was the breakfast served to the room (make sure you order the night before). The mangrove walk & sunsets there are stunning.

Some small detractors for me at the mangrove bar were the tour groups which made it feel quite overcrowded, and the caged birds which felt cruel and unnecessary.

Mixed Feelings about this hotel , the positive is that is i's a retreat from the busier resort hotel with some food staff, the negative is it's a little disorganised. The reception team and room standards are very good. The pool area is a good size for families but only had 8 sun loungers and seemed more settled up for shade than the sun. The lack of in room information was frustrating basic things like how to get a towel and breakfast missed off on arrival and nothing in the room. The process of pre ordering breakfast before 8pm was pointless as the service was so slow in the morning. Restaurant food was good but service best described as chaotic with food arriving at different times even the same dishes arriving at different times. We didn't find a wine list till the last day ..The pier and nest offers amazing views of sunset and helps add to the overall score as without it the hotel is a 3. Some

Location was nice. Great scenes. The service was great. Staff was very accommodating and quite quick to respond.

It gets very busy - the pool and bamboo walk because I believe it’s open to the public. It really ruins the ‘zen’ element of the resort. I hope they will decide to make this area exclusive to guests of the resort group.
