The staff is friendly and helpful.

Paper thin walls with very dated rooms. In my opinion, the room was double the price it should have been.

Beds were super comfy. The light switch for washroom is on outside wall of bathroom, so you have to light the whole room up when you use the washroom at night. Hard not to disturb your room mates.

Had good sleeps. Bathtub was clean & deep.

Fire alarm pulled 7am xmas morning. Not laundry facilities on site.

Location. Worked 10 min away. Would be a good location for a snow mobile trip. For work I'll book elsewhere for the money per room compared to other locations from Goderich to Stratford.

Based on reviews I was expecting more from staff but no biggie. . Tiny room, no upgrade or price reduction when it was 95% vacant. This is again based on my expectations from reviews and then the fact it was empty..again nothing bad or wrong, just a missed op to ho above when it looked like 3/4 rooms were booked in the whole place. Few drawers not clean inside ( minor but looked like dry ketchup) Tiny TV.

The room was well set up with nightstands, a round table with chairs and separate desk. I do a lot of travelling and this was welcomed to have a both a desk and table. I bought breakfast and came back to sit down at the table. The bed was very comfy - I felt like melted cheese! I like an extra blanket and there were extra blankets which was nice. Coffee, bottled water, cookies, all very generous! Bathroom was very clean, very bright, fan worked well to remove the moisture from the shower. Very notable was the heater was not noisy, and not overly loud, very pleased; most places these things just howl and rattle. The owner charges a hefty fee for smoking and pets - this I truly appreciate because the room smelled CLEAN, not like wet dog. The main door when closed sealed very well, blocking highway noise and no cold air drafts. This room had a main entry door, and, sliding patio doors facing the rear of the property which is well kept. If the weather was warmer there were chairs you could sit on outside. I like to sit and have coffee in bed in the morning, opening the curtains to the sliding windows it was nice to see the outdoors waking up, lots of pillows for comfort too. Finally, Rick the owner is very welcoming and enjoys his guests. Clearly he takes great pride in his property and it shows down to the last little detail!! I do look forward to staying here again, it is quiet, functional and clean.

The bathroom window was frosted, however I did crack it open carefully for fresh air, not too far, for privacy. A short curtain would be a nice addition for privacy with the window open.
