Fidalsa Guardamar Resort

The Apartment was great. Spacious and lovely balcony. And the location, even though it's a bit off is, good. Really only a 10-15 min walk to Guardamar. Parking is plentiful which was nice. It pains me a little bit to give a bad review but things could hav easily been so much better with just a little more effort. This could have been a 9/10.

The keys to the gates were a nightmare and we spent 20 minutes trying to get out of the pool area day nr 1. Not ok with a small child and pregnant girlfriend. We got a new pool key for day 3, so it took a while (too long). Fidalsa also pretended like this was a new issue even though they've been replying to complaints about this here on Booking for many months. WiFi never worked. They said they would solve it but they didn't. The pool was pretty cold, I'd guess around 19 degrees but I get that heating is expensive and I don't judge them poorly for this, but it's worth a mention. And the final thing I would like to bring up is that when we brought up all the problems with the keys and the wifi/internet to our hosts, they straight up lied to Booking and said that the keys hade worked perfectly our entire stay and that they hade fixed the internet... Booking deserves praise though, the communication with them was very good.

construction site nearby with a lot of noice until 6:30, the madras in one room was extremely soft, no hot water the first days (heater was on timer that was not set properly), indoor pool area closed for season, door lock on the outer glassdoor was very worn (took long time to open sometimes), outdoor pool area had only cold water

Apt was big and spacious. Beds were comfy and big. Living area big. Balcony was gorgeous. Nice and quiet.

The walking up and down the hill in the heat. The keys were awful found it very hard to open the doors with them really bad. We had no hot water for 3, days eventually a technician came.

The flat, pool and paddle court are very nice.

The gym, sauna and other facilities were out of order and not in use. I would have expected for us to know this before renting the property. Agree with other comments about keys. You only get a set of keys and you need them to go to the pool/paddle court. Also, I’m not happy with the customer service provided by Fidalsa. We had issues with the keys (they left the wrong set of keys in the collection box) and took over 40min to get a response. There isn’t a phone number that you can call, it is all via Whatsapp. The lifeguard (Cesar) and concierge were great and very helpful.

The property, grounds and facilities were of a very high standard. The pool area and gardens were well looked after by a grounds man. the flat has the most fantastic shower and jacuzzi bath, the aircon is cool and the flat is very spacious. We had a very nice stay in the apartment which is of a very high standard. A little welcome booklet with pool times, taxis would be useful. The balcony and terrace are lovely and get the sun later in the day where you can sit and have a glass of wine in the peaceful surroundings, overall a lovely stay.

The keys are a bit of a nightmare, having one set and having to go everywhere together or run about letting each other through gates is a complete pain. The beds are not of great quality and although fine for a short stay my husband and i had to sleep in separate rooms for any chance of a decent sleep. The frames are cheap and for a property of this standard need to be improved upon. Whilst there are two pools in the photo and a hot tub these are not open at the same time, so you can have only a cold tub in the summer by the outdoor pool, which should be made clearer on the site.

Bad key system- only one key and many “hard to open” doors and gates. Also there is no oportunity to rent tennis/golf equipments.

The location was great and the complex was in really good condition with great facilities.The view from the balcony was a treat and the roller blinds helped with the sun.

We struggled with only one set of keys, we didn't know any codes to open the doors and there were 6 adults so we battled with only one set of keys. The doors/ locks were really tricky to open so we struggled to get the doors unlocked sometimes. We didn't like that you couldn't swim between 3pm and 5pm.

Big and clean apartment, good location and not far away from the shops, easy acces to highway. The apartment is quite close to the sea, by walk and just 5 min. by car. The location is good for kids, as at the time we were there, there were many families with kids, there is also a little swimming pool for kids and it is not deep. Internet worked without any problems and a/c saved us in july. It is a quite place, we did not have any problems with extra noise.

A little minus for us was, that we did not have a vacuum cleaner, it would be very nice! You get only one set of keys and if somebody wants to go swim and somebody stays at home ... one have to let another out of the apartment and property doors and the door to the swimming pool location. A little bit uncomfortable. Fridge is deffently not cooling enough, it is around +10.
