What a hidden gem in Porto! The location is perfect—close to everything, yet a peaceful oasis away from the hustle. The rooms are sparkling clean and come with all the amenities. And the breakfast? Absolutely spectacular! I'm already missing it. Margarida was incredibly sweet and helpful; sending her much love!

"Great location. Great host. Shame about the pool."

The owner, Margarida, was lovely. Really helpful! Shared tips on places to go etc. Rooms were comfy - liked the shutters so nice and dark and good mattresses. Hint for booking - The 2 bed apartment was much more spacious than the family room.

Unfortunately the pool was closed. Margarida tried hard to get it fixed but was unable. Note that usually pool opens in June so you can’t guarantee any earlier

-Good location -Very friendly and welcoming staff who were also very helpful -lovely spacious room with coffee/ tea making facilities, including milk and microwave available, as well as bottles still and sparkling water - Beautiful shared lounge, library room and outdoor pool, although the pool was not open while we were there - Good and plentiful breakfast where nothing was too much trouble and it was always served with a smile. Everything was beautifully presented - Comfortable bed

Wir hatten sehr schöne Tage in der Casa do Cativo Das Personal war super freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Die Lage ist perfekt, um Porto zu erkunden.

Margarida and staff was exceptional, always ready to help with anything we needed. The location couldn’t have been better, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. Breakfast was a yummy selection of fresh and delicious options each morning. We would happily stay here again!
