Guesthouse Dalbaer

we stayed for 1 night in this beautiful property. it was so peaceful and serene. our room had a balcony and we were able to sit, watch the sun set, and take in the vastness of icelandic skies. there was self serve juice and hot cocoas available, which was very much appreciated after a long day of hiking and driving.

De kamer en gezamenlijke woonkamer waren prima. Gedeelde badkamer aan de kleine kant.

De badkamer was niet op dezelfde verdieping als de kamers en wel erg klein

The front desk was rude on check in. The sheets smelled of smoke, and everything was dusty. Would not recomend.

Facile da raggiungere, dotato di una cucina attrezzata. Zona tranquilla. C’è una vasca termale all’esterno molto carina.

The host Rut is very nice, I asked for checking in early and she graciously agreed.

The room is very hot but we can't open the window as mosquitos will come in. Nevertheless we got bitten a lot. Those are very small fruitflies-like mosquitoes or flies but they bite humans and very itchy. Hopefully not carry any disease. The lady said they have been in the area for the past 3 years. Some rooms may not have this problem.
