La comida no nada buena

Las habitaciones están en excelente estado, muy limpias y el servicio es excelente. Lo mejorable es el internet. Ojalá que se concluya con el resto de la planta física. El área de la playa es increíble, especial para el descanso.

The room and the view were gorgeous. The location was also really nice for a quiet weekend away as it is not in a super touristy area. However, the WIFI did not work the entire time and when we asked about it we were given a reason that did not make sense and no attempt was made to rectify the issue. As someone who is working remotely this was extremely inconvenient. Over the three nights we were there the room was also never cleaned once, nor were clean towels or sheets provided. The hotel advertises that they have daily housekeeping but this is not the case. I was very disappointed as fresh sheet and towels were very needed by the end of our stay. We were also completely out of toilet paper by the end as there was not much in the room to start. The free breakfast was very good, but when we ordered lunch it took nearly two hours for it to be ready, while waiting we decided to return to our room and asked if they could bring the food there. They would not do so without charging us after making us wait so long for the food. Overall, the property is beautiful, rooms nice and view amazing. The lack of cleaning, slow service and non-working WIFI ruin what could be an absolutely amazing stay though.

Staff are amazing ! Super friendly and the location is so peaceful not very touristy but this is what we wanted.

The resort sits on a ridge overlooking a beautiful cove and park. At the base of the hill is a quaint restaurant and bar where you will want to spend the rest of your life. The owners and staff were terrific. This is one place you shouldn’t miss.

We had the best time at San Juanillo! The staff of this small resort is super friendly and helpful! They are PET FRIENDLY and animal lovers! We saw monkeys, iguanas, squirrels, different kind of butterflies, birds and a lot of wildlife! The rooms are clean and spacious! It’s close to the beach! The food is nice! If you are looking to have some quality family beach time, this is the place for you and your family!

Nous avons passé 3 nuits au cocobolo, malheureusement nos deux premières nuits ont été compliquées, la seule chambre sans moustiquaires aux fenêtres, de ce fait des que vous ouvrez c’est l’invasion en tout genre, nous avons eu la visite d’un scorpion en pleine nuit, nous sommes entrés dans une chambre où aucuns stores n’était ouvert avec une odeur de renfermée, des draps tachés, le ménage derrière la tête de lit non fait. Le premier matin je ne peux vous dire le nombre d’insectes sur le sol de la chambre! Seulement à la dernière nuit nous avons pu changer de chambre et avoir la mieux de l’hôtel à l’étage, aucuns insectes, chambre très sympathique avec une vue à couper le souffle. Je reste mitigée sur le rapport qualité/prix, près de 460€ pour une chambre qui pour moi ne les vaut pas. Nous gardons un excellent souvenir du personnel travaillant au bar de l’hôtel, ils sont juste super et à l’écoute du client !! Petit déjeuner au top !

Great place to stay, EXCEPT for the 10 plus miles of very rough dirt road before the hotel. Don’t think I would make the trip again

Amazing. All I can say is I wish I could never leave. Food was amazing, staff was attentive and superior to any of the other 7 facilities I visited during my stay in Costa Rica. Beach was pristine was hammocks, ambiance with string lights and super clean. Rooms were spacious and private and all together spectacular. Great activities like pool table and games available. Super informative staff about the available amenities as well. I believe the owner came to greet us at our dinner and was friendly, welcoming and personable. Would highly reccomend this resort. Absolutely incredible.

The hotel has a great view over a beautiful bay. The hotel is new and well designed. The room was rather spacious with a very big shower cabin right inside the room, a great experience :) The beach is rather crowded but those seem to be mainly families and the atmosphere is very calm and pleasant. The beach is clean. Food and cocktails in the restaurant are of very good quality. Staff are pleasant and helpful, particularly the waiter Isaac who helped us a lot with all kind of local tips. In one word, it is highly recommendable to stay at Cocobolo Beach Resort.
