"Superb"

The service was great, as was the communication. My train was delayed, but I could still come in late and the host prepared me a delicious local dinner! Tortelli with pumkin and also a variant with cherries!! I enjoyed this possibility to discover some local dishes! The locanda is situated 5 walking minutes from the train station, which is great for when you arrive with public transport. The next day I walked to Mantova (1 hour walk) instead of taking public transport there, which for the scenery I might not specifically recommend. The host even sent me the recipes for the food after my stay, because I enjoyed it so much, I will definitely make it myself in memory of this place!

"Good location as a starting point to explore Mantua and surrounding"

We received a very friendly welcome and got good tips for the surrounding area and Mantua. The delicious breakfast can be highly recommended. The host is super nice and helpful.

Host was very friendly. Gave extra information how to reach it. Room was clean and beds were very comfy. The breakfast was homemade, best breakfast during our roadtrip through Italy!
