Golden Sea Hotel

Ok. It is not far away from the beach. The bed was comfortable. We booked one bed but they gave us twin and Even didn't offer to change it after. Very unfriendly staff. The room was clean enough + a lit if ants (((( I will not come back here.

We stayed here for 3 nights due to the positive reviews. The beds were comfortable and the view was great looking over the street parallel to the beach. Unfortunately it wasn’t the best stay we’ve had in Vietnam with hundreds of ants scurrying out on occasions and I also watched a hotel guest squash a cockroach. The service staff weren’t the friendliest, rarely smiling or doing anything that would be out of their way to help us. We had asked them for help with our train to Sai Gon which to their reply was that they could not do even though our other stays helped gleefully. I would recommend this hotel if you’re looking for an average experience in Nha Trang.

Let me preface this review by making it clear the rating is based on the fact this is a budget hotel ( a really good budget at that)! it's not the Ritz. We definitely got bang for our buck. The establishment passed our primary criteria: safe and clean. It also passed tier two: comfortable, functional air conditioning and free wi-fi that worked just fine (we have expressvpn as we currently reside in China - so no idea how effective internet service is in Vietnam without it). The hotel exceeded tier three: friendly and helpful staff. The staff helped us book excursions, recommended local restaurants, arranged our airport travel and were welcoming and engaged. The location is great! Just a short block form the beach and tonnes of restaurants, we found it very easy to get to and fro. There is no longer a pool. No longer a restaurant but frankly, I don't think we would have utilized either. We really enjoyed the staff. They were not only helpful but offered us tea when we were waiting for our room and chatted with us about our stay and about our life in Canada.

We stayed in one single room and one double room on same floor. Single room has small bed, but window face to the sea, very cool wind, no need to turn on aircon at night. Double room has window face to elavator so guests dont want to open it. Hotel is quiet. House keeping are attentive girls, when I showed bad smell around bedside table, they cleaned carefully in 2 days until the weird smell gone. Generally, room and shower are clean. Bed sheet is new and be changed everyday. Towel is little bit old but changed everyday too. Hope this hotel will have fresh features in new year so it can keep old guests return and cheering new guests Wifi good. Location 3 mins to the beach. Bus from airport, to vinpearl, to ponagar temple stops on Biet Thu street (corner with hotel). Sinh tourist ticket office is opposite side of hotel. Taxi to Mi vit tiem 69 bach dang street cost 16,000 vnd only (duck roasted noodle). From the noodle place, walk straight down 200m, there is good place for chicken rice, name Com ga Ha ngo gia tu. Nha trang speciality is Bun ca (fish noodle soup), nem nuong (minced pork grill)

Fantastic for the price! Amazing location and on the fourth floor there wasn't much noise. Beds are a little hard and springy but you get what you pay for. Large room with great AC. Very kind people on the desk who printed our train tickets and helped us get taxis etc. Overall a wonderful 3 days stay for a budget hotel.

I would have rated higher if the hotel actually had a restaurant as advertised. I was perplexed as a restaurant was clearly advertised on a Agoda's website, along with a photo. However, I was told point blank by the receptionist that there is no restaurant even though I saw the dining room that looked as the photo did on Agoda's website with my own eyes. The location is fantastic, the beach is almost literally around the corner. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, shops, tour agencies in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. Hotel itself is okay. Room is big and the bathroom is great, especially the shower. Half of my mattress was indented from a lot of use, and the other half was like brand new. The staff was not as pleasant as they have been in other similarly priced hotels I have stayed in throughout Vietnam. The tours offered by the hotel were also not that great compared to other hotels.

Our stay was just perfect. To start with, the receptionist was very nice and spoke a very good English, she booked the bus to Da lat for us and the bus came to pick us up in Front of the hotel. Then, it is perfectly located in the middle of numerous restaurants and very close to the beach. I was afraid that it would be noisy during the night because of all the bars downstairs, but not at all. We have a little balcony on the street it was nice. The cleanness was also irreproachable. Lastly, the price was correct. This is definitely the best place we could have found.

We spent a few nights here and had a great time. Staff was very friendly and helpful with bookings, information, and suggestions. The location is right in the center of the action, yet our room was quiet. Great value for the money. We'll be back again one day.

This is a great hotel I first found on April 20,2015. What really sold me - apart from rooms 804 and 901 -was the staff:both at the Le Tân reception desk and housekeeping. I feel I am back with friends and family each time I go back: Miss Trúc, Miss Diem and Miss Thoa are the most wonderful diplomats for Việt Nam, their beautiful nation.

Rooms are almost same as on photo, also has one lift – which is convenient. Service is good, they support all our requirement. When we check in found that our pillows are not so good, but immediately they bring good ones. Also we ordered sleeper bus ticket from hotel with hotel pick up. Location is in nice place, just 300 m from Beach. Room has safebox, which also not working properly but staff changed battery and then work well. You should better bring your own hygienic products or buy from near shop as provided by hotel is not so good. For this price I think it is very good option in Nha Trang. Have TV with international and 1 Russian channel.
