Hotel Artheim

Hotel is awesome! Located in the central tourist spot (not the geographical city center, thought the central part of all the places that tourists usually visit in Gwangju). There are a lot of restaurants and attractions nearby. Transportation is good as well. Hotel itself is fully renovated, rooms are in good condition, clean and spacious. Personal speaks English well.

Sound isolation was not as perfect as you might hope for it to be, sometimes you could hear people talking in the halls or in the room above (assume they we loud).

It was a short walk from the subway station, and easy to find. Nice breakfast, kind staff. Clean and big rooms.

Surrounding areas were developing, so not as clean etc. But not the hotels fault.

Comfortable bed

I was given a room facing a brick wall so it had little natural light.

Room was ok. Good position.

No tea bags at breakfast (which was absurd as they were in the room. We asked for them, were told to wait and nothing happened).
