View Ocean

Beautiful sight to wake up to. It is a wonderful family run place. Feels kinda heart-warming. The honey chrysanthemum tea is so refreshing as cold brew. They helped me to arrange for half day tour which turn out to be quite a wonderful trip despite my halting chinese language.

Th hotel was so well situated near the coast and the night market. The small size, with only two rooms per floor, meant I had a view of the ocean out the front window, and one of the town and mountains out the back. Never got tired of looking out. The room, as well as other areas of the hotel, was filled with quirky furniture and collectibles which I found charming. The hosts were absolutely lovely and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and to get assistance we needed. Tea, coffee, fruit and biscuits were always available in the lobby, which was a nice touch.

The listing suggested breakfast was available at the property but that did not appear to be the case.

Location. An easy walk from main train station. Hotel is right in the centre of the action. Clean room. Nice staff.

Rooms a little small. Hard to black out the room.

Unbeatable sea view for both windows

The property is ocean front with an incredible view, this is the reason why I stayed here. It has direct access to the bike/running path along the shoreline. The owners were super friendly and shared a lot about the area and things to do. It is also located 1 block away from Hualien’s night market which is very lively, and if you time it correctly, the farmers market is also walking distance. Most of the stalls in the farmers market sells veggies and meats but there are also a good number of breakfast stalls.

The property is a little dated and good use a face lift, but for the value and location, it’s top notch. Overall it was comfortable and it has everything you need for a good night’s rest.

Das View Ocean liegt perfekt für einen Besuch in Hualien. Keine 5 Minuten zum Nightmarket, der Strand mit der schön gestalteten Promenade liegt direkt vor dem Hotel. Das Zimmer war sauber und wurde täglich sehr gründlich gereinigt. Die Taroko-Schlucht ist in einer halben Stunde Fahrt gut zu erreichen.
