RedDoorz near Balai Kota Malang

The location is good, next to the train station. The room & bathroom are big.

There was a lot of dust and the all equipments and room are old.

Location was great, 5-10 minutes walk to the 🚂 station. Staff were incredibly kind & helpful, using a translation app as their English was only a little better than my Bahasa 😉 The building itself is amazing, formerly 2 houses knocked together to create a hotel.

My first experience of Red Doorz… V inexpensive so can’t enormously complain but the room & hotel were FILTHY (& I do not use the word lightly). Again, wasn’t a massive problem for us it others would’ve taken one look & run a mile! Would stay there again if had no option BUT if found an alternative in the same price range would likely choose the alternative

As stated in previous review, it is not a bad option for the price BUT be prepared for VERY dirty room & things not working. Staff incredibly kind & helpful though. Good location close to 🚂 station

Excelent location directly next to the most luxury hotel. The original vintage style gave a feeling like travelling in time in the footsteps of Ernest hemingway. I loved my stay in my big room.

We did not get to stay in the main building. Instead we were in room 5 in an out building. Even considering the low price, the room was basic. The bathroom was perhaps the worst we have encountered. The hotel was originally called Hotel Splendid but has declined.Perhaps the rooms in the main colonial style building are better, but I would not recommend the room we stayed in
