Das ganze Haus strahlt schon bei der Ankunft einen wunderschönen historischen Charme aus und bietet viel Platz für gemütlichen Aufenthalt auf den geräumigen und schön gestalteten Außenbereichen vor und hinter dem Haus. Die Lage direkt an Straße und Bahnlinie ist wie sie ist, hat den Aufenthalt aber in keiner Weise negativ beeinflusst. Die Fenster haben die entsprechenden Geräusche ausreichend gefiltert; wir haben, trotz Lage der beiden großen Schlaf- und Aufenthalts-Räume auf der Straßen- und Bahnseite, sehr gut geschlafen. Das tolle, bunte Frühstück war mit viel Liebe angerichtet und wurde durch die anwesenden sehr freundlichen Gastwirte aktiv mit zusätzlichen Angeboten individuell um Getränke (Kaffee, Tee ...) und Rührei ergänzt (s. Bilder) Nach Lucca dauert die Autofahrt ca. 10 Minuten und die umliegenden sehr charmanten Kleingemeinden sind noch schneller zu erreichen. Wenn wir zukünftig in der Nähe sind, wird die Villa Dogana unsere erste Anlaufstation.
