This hostel is very fancy, has a nice interior and a comfy bed. It’s located a bit outside of the old town of Ipoh (aprox. 10 minutes walk), but very close to the D.R Seenivasaram Recreation Park. I stayed in a female dorm. Beds have dark curtains for enough privacy and were comfortable. I loved that you get a fresh towel to shower and they had a small breakfast and all day free coffee (Nescafe) and tea included (with fresh apples!!:)). Only negative point was that our dorm was in the groundfloor right next to the kitchen and it was a bit loud so you could hear the people that were chatting in the kitchen or entrance area.

Stunning interior and design and very friendly staff. New hostel so hardly anyone staying there but once it gets recognised it will be amazing. Great communal areas but no wifi in the room I was in. Basic breakfast, clean and private. Great aircon and washing facilities. Location is a little far out, maybe 20 min walk to Old Town or cheap grab. Would recommend but can also be a little noisy depending on the room you're in

Pro - really nice design (rooms and common area) - free breakfast (but very basic) - male staff at the reception was very nice - washing machine free of use Con - no working Wifi downstairs and upstairs - location, its 20min walk to the oldtown and for Ipoh very decentral - most rooms downstairs are directly next to the common area and shared showers/toilets so you hear every word spoken, every toilet flushing - really noisy street in the front and in the back, street noises all night (even with earplugs) - upstairs room full of mosquitoes, we killed eight in the first hour, got bitten twice Of the four nights we planned to stay, we only stayed two

Overall, it was nice. Tho price was a little higher than normal hotel around there, it was definitely a good try if u wanna be at somewhere different. On the downside, the rooms are not soundproof, you could hear vehicles moving around and ppl chatting outside your room.

To start it all with- my favourite feature of the hostel, being the most spacious and cosy capsule bunk I have ever came across in my hosteling trips thus far, it felt almost like I have my own private room! In addition, a curtain of dense quality is equipped to afford you more than adequate privacy. Additionally, there are ergonomic storage facilities to organise your baggages securely. Apart from that, the sleek interior presentation of the entire place was something to enjoy in itself. As an outdoor person, I find myself calling my day earlier just to simply hangout in the multiple spaces within the property... ... that are perfectly designed for a good read, movie time on your laptop or some silly phone-time. I wished I could have stayed longer than just a night. An absolute recommendation from me!

The whole hostel is nicely designed. I have a really nice chat with the founder and the staff. The location is not in the center but it is really close (in 20 min walking distance. Recommend travellers to stay in this lovely hostel when you visit Ipoh.

The hostel is extremely clean. Staff is very helpful and informative about local attractions and places to find good food. A map is given at the hostel which is very helpful when navigating Old Town and New Town. Our private toilets are very clean and the water pressure and heater are EXCELLENT. The towels provided were VERY fluffy and soft. Rooms are beautifully designed with light fixtures that give the room a very cozy feel. The room is very spacious the only exception being the hard beds and thin blankets which would not fully cover a tall person. The entire hostel is very Instagram-able featuring a table with swings as seats in the pantry and an outdoor dining space to enjoy your morning. The pantry also has a purified water dispenser that dispenses hot cold and room temperature water. There's a rooftop patio as well as a movie game room where families can spend time together and chill. The hostel is beautifully restored retaining most of its old shop-house beauty with added modern facilities.

+ Price is good, room is big and clean. Good for backpacker. - Hard to get parking around the area. - Room no soundproof, stayed the room at ground floor and its abit noisy as the shared bathroom and kitchen is just beside the room.
