Hyatt Place Greensboro Downtown

New hotel with nice touches! Breakfast presentation is the best I’ve seen in Hyatt Place. I don’t sleep well in hotels but these beds were so comfortable that I slept like a baby. This hotel is adjacent to. Minor league baseball field and you can watch the games from the pool. That was such a cool surprise. And don’t worry about noise, the walls are so thick at this hotel. We will be back!

5 stars! I attended a company conference at the Hyatt Place Greensboro and had a great experience. The conference areas were clean, organized, and very professional. The staff was welcoming and helpful throughout the event, and the downtown location was perfect. Excellent atmosphere for hosting business events!

I just had my second stay at the Hyatt in downtown Greensboro, and it was once again a fantastic experience. I was in town for work and stayed three nights. The customer service was top-notch—everyone was so welcoming and attentive. The bar area had a great vibe, and the staff there were really friendly. Plus, being right across from the baseball field added such a fun atmosphere. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown Greensboro!

The rooms were well maintained and clean. We had the whole family (3 kids and 2 adults) in one room and the pullout couch worked well. Breakfast was good (what you would expect for a hotel breakfast). Two of our party are plant-based eaters and there were options (oatmeal, cereal, almond milk, fruit, etc.) The proximity to things to do downtown is great.

The Hyatt Place in Greensboro is located on the north side of downtown, across the street from the Greensboro Grasshopper baseball field. The hotel is predictable and comfortable with many of the same interior decorations as other Hyatt Place hotels. The hotel lobby bar serves beer and wine until 2am for those having a long travel day. Two very good restaurants (Undercurrent and Machete) are within easy walking distance. We booked a one bedroom suite which directly overlooked the ballpark and it was like having a 'skybox' to watch the action. However, the floor to ceiling blackout curtains had a major flaw. A vertical beam at the corner of the room left a five-inch gap in the curtains causing the room to be filled with light continuously with city lights night and day. My sweet wife had to jury-rig a suitcase & coat hanging from a clothes hanger system to mostly block the light so we could sleep. Breakfast is the usual stuff for a Hyatt Place. Poor quality scrambled eggs that come liquefied in a pouch, daily changes in the protein (the bacon was excellent!) and warm carbohydrate options, warm grits or oatmeal, assorted juices, breads, and fresh fruit. This a modestly priced and predictable hotel in downtown Greensboro.
