Very noisy place to stay, and it smells bad. Aircon was not working well.

Location was very good. 180m to the nearest grocery mart and bus terminal. Clean and good ventilation. Friendly and polite staff. We requested for a twin bed and our request was met for the second and third night at no additional cost.

Bed is pretty comfy. Bathroom is fine. Staff were pleasant. The breakfast is cheap and not terrible (apart from the coffee)

This is an unintentionally noisy hotel. None of the windows actually close as they are glass loovers. This is pretty common in Samoa to let the breeze through. Unfortunately, it mainly just lets in the noise of 16 air-conditioning units from outside rumble into your room. It sounds like they are running a Diesel generator downstairs, but no... It's just the Aircon. Also, the coffee is horrendous. They give you sachets of 3 in 1 which is coffee, milk powder and sugar. I would say it's about 10 parts sugar for every part anything else, but I might be the only one complaining about dirt flavoured sugar water because there's a jar of sugar on the room for when too much sugar is just not enough. This is also the only coffee you get at breakfast, so no respite there. Admittedly, if you don't drink coffee, you can ignore the last paragraph. But the noise still remains.

I had a great stay at the White House Hotel in Apia. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout my stay. The air conditioning was excellent, which made a huge difference during the hot summer weather. The location is perfect - close to town and very convenient for getting around and exploring Apia. The reception staff were extremely helpful, assisting with organising taxis, recommending local tourist spots, and providing great tips on how to navigate Samoa, which made the trip much easier and more enjoyable. A standout highlight was the food at Rosy’s Burgers, located at the hotel - easily the best burgers in Samoa. On top of that, all staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, genuinely making me feel at home from the moment I arrived. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Samoa; especially as a solo traveller.
