InTown Suites Extended Stay Nashville TN - Bell Road

A SAD SITUATION AT A PROMISING PROPERTY The only reason that we completed our stay here was because they had us hostage with the prepayment, and the location was directly across from where our friend lives. PROS This place is only about 25 minutes to downtown, and that is by way of secondary streets and routes. The water quality was very good, and there was plenty of hot water for the shower. Our room was obviously remodeled and done with good taste. Calling it a premium suite is really pushing it, but it could be inviting and cozy… And it was very clean… BUT… CONS I missed a call from Jessica, the manager. She called roughly less than an hour before we arrived to let us know that she might cancel our reservation if we did not arrive soon… this was at 3 in the afternoon, and I did not get to answer it as I was driving. Upon arrival at around 4, she had a poor attitude and reiterated her voice mail message (which I listened to later). Yes, road weary travelers were told that they were nearly denied their reservation when the confirmation email clearly indicated that check in was between 3 and 7 PM. The roaches are real. We read about it in previous reviews, and that is why we brought along RAID spray. We found only 2 dead ones during the initial inspection, but the rest came out at night. They were few, and we conquered them, but this is 2023. If there are a few in a very clean room… this place needs some professional help. We kept up with it by nearly emptying our can of RAID and buying bait traps at Kroger’s. The walls are paper-thin, and you can hear and be heard from adjoining rooms. The manager was barely around, even during supposed office hours. And then there was the gunfire at 5:41 AM on Sunday morning. It sounded like they came from the hotel’s parking lot: 5 shots in steady, quick succession. Yeah… a bit unsettling. By the time we left on the 29th, the roaches had begun to win our battle with them. One was even spotted on one of our bed pillows. We bailed, happy to be leaving that horror show. This place could be nice. But, as it is being run, I would only recommend it to my cousin Ray when he gets done his 20-year stint…. Just kidding. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, and I don’t have any family in prison.

Jessica was very helpful and kind with checking me in. Its nice to see a smiling face.

This completely inconsiderate employee calls me and cancelled a 10 days stay with no alternative option. Said she was going home and can't check me in. So I found a better hotel. This place is a homeless motel with disgusting reviews and definitely has bed bugs. Stay somewhere else and avoid getting bed bugs in your clothes.

The staff is very helpful and John the property manager always greets with a smile and goes above and beyond to make the guests feel at home away from home and safe. Property is being updated daily and he definitely takes pride in his job
