Funny Monkeys Homestay

Wow. What a little piece of heaven. This place was a sanctuary in Phong Nha, making us fall in love with this village. Linh was the sweetest host, who was always so accommodating and welcoming to us. So thankful for her. Anything we needed, she was there to help. If we ever have any friends stay in Phong Nha, we will be sending them to Funny Monkeys Homestay. We stayed in a room on the top floor, which had a panoramic balcony, hammock and chairs to lounge around on. The view of the boats, with the emerald green water and the Karst mountains in the background were so beautiful, that we never wanted to leave. Everything was done so well here, the cleanliness, the breakfast (a delightful cooked meal with a drink every morning), the comfort and large spacious rooms.

朝食が選べておいしかったです。外食もしていましたが最後の日は、ここで食べました。部屋から川の景色を見ているだけで気持ちがいいです。スタッフは親切に相談にのってくれました。

Great location right on the river, super comfy bed, amazing services by everyone on the property, great food, lovely dog coca, great views..

It’s not as clean as I would like it, but it’s nothing that bothers me in a small village like that. It’s important to have the context of where you’re staying and have the appropriate expectations. It’s insanely humid there but there’s nothing really they can do about it.

Property is located in perfect spot. The room view is great and refreshing. The day we arrived we forgot our handbag in grab the homestay owner was quick and took me to the spot of cab drivers to locate the cab and get our bag safely. Not only that but the staff especially Linh is absolutely best at her work. She made sure our experience is memorable and comfortable. All the tour recommendations were perfect. They also packed us breakfast for our early check out. I’ll recommend this place without any second thoughts.

L'emplacement et la vue sur la rivière. La literie est aussi très confortable.

Le bruit ! Immeuble en travaux à côté de l'hôtel et notre chambre au rez de chaussée qui donnait sur l'espace de restauration.

La gentillesse du personnel. Un spécial pour Lin. En plus elle parlais bien l’anglais. Les délicieuses crêpes et le poulet panée.

Beaucoup de construction autour de l’établissement. Donc du bruit à partir de 7hr am. Douche ouverte entre le lavabo et la toilette.

The staff is really nice and helpful, the restaurant is excellent, the breakfast is very good and our room was comfortable with a wonderful view on the river.

There is some building work nearby that can be disturbing. But it was fine for me. Also, just pointing out that each balcony is shared between 3 rooms.

Superplek, met mooi uitzicht. Heel vriendelijk personeel die er alles aan doet om je thuis te laten voelen. Ze staan er voor open om alles voor je te regelen en maken heerlijk eten klaar. We hebben een fijne tijd gehad bij Funny Monkeys en raden deze homestay zeker aan!
