Bed Plus House close YVR Airport

The friendliest host I have ever met!!! The house is in a really clean and quiet suburb and very close to the bus stop so you can get into downtown most easily wihout any hassle.

Very comfortable bed. Also, the host, Carl, was very helpful and polite.

When we arrived at the place, it turned out to be a large home in an area with many similar large homes! The photos in Expedia did not show the outside of the building... This home had 3 rental rooms upstairs while the host lived downstairs with his family. The room we had, suite 1, was pretty small. On the plus side, the host was very nice. Room issues: 1. There is only one night table, no room for a second one; as a result, there is a reading light on only one side of the bed 2. There is a small and very uncomfortable upholstered chair: it is very low and has a metal bar that pushes on your rear end 3. The very small desk is made from glass; I was worried about breaking it when I put my laptop on it 4. The rolling chair for the desk doesn't roll 5. The room was warm. The fan was a bit on the noisy side at like speed. As we were there in early June, no A/C and a pretty weak fan means the room would be uncomfortably hot in the summer 6. Quiet hours are 23:00 to 07:00. No early morning showers! 7. When I went to bed, I saw a blue light under the bed. I unplugged it so I could see start it was. "Pest repeller" was printed on the cover. I hope there aren't any bedbugs! 8. No night light so I couldn't see to go to the bathroom at night. I had to hang on to the bed a lot

The host was very nice and accommodating after a late flight, the room was spacious & comfortable for two people and the private washroom was very clean. We enjoyed our stay here!

Did not realize this was in a residential / private home. Photos when I booked very misleading as we walk everywhere - LONG walk to get to the places the photos showed. Accommodating for taking our luggage early, but not welcoming, drop off luggage and leave, no place to stay. VERY noisy both evenings - screaming/yelling, doors slamming Only 2 bath towels, no hand towels or washcloths Would not stay here again.

Great guest house with reasonable prices! The host is friendly and very quick to reach out to. Some house rules to follow, but they are pretty reasonable still. Would recommend anyone that would like to stay in Richmond area :)

We ran out seeing the poor condition of the property and attacking behavior of the owner. We did not stay at that property. Unarranged furniture at the entrance, no parking place, weird 'no shoes' inside the property policy, will not allow to check the room, weird and cunning behavior of the owner of the property; horrible experience.

Very friendly hosts, clean amd tidy facility, generous pantry supplies, quiet and nice neighbourhood. Very nice experience overall.

Carl our host was a welcome greeter when we arrived off the plane from Australia at 1.30am. We chose this property because it offered a shuttle service and very grateful to have someone to rely on after such an exhausting trip. Carl was a wealth of knowledge about where to visit to get the most out of our four nights stay in Vancouver. Visiting Lynn Canyon, Stanley Park, and Deep Cove were the highlights. The facilities were perfect for our stay, offering breakfast facilities for us to use. The location was perfect for us to drive in any direction without fuss. Free parking outside on the street in a quiet neighborhood. We had slippers supplied to wear inside the house which we didn't mind doing. Fisherman’s Wharf was a special treat, as we enjoyed a sunset with fresh Salmon for dinner. Carl and his family offered up their home to us and we were very blessed to share the space with them. Courteous, friendly and generous with their time in talking to us.

Getting our luggage up the stairs but we were there for four nights so not really a problem. Up on day one and down on day four.
