"Quiet, cosy hostel located near Kota Kinabalu city, several great restaurants and key amenities"

All round excellent value for money hostel. It is located near several malls (and as such great restaurants) and within is walking distance of KK City. Quiet throughout the day and night, so is not the place to make new friends if that's what you're looking for. Staff are very friendly and helpful; they let us store a large bag for 4 nights whilst we travelled to Sandakan. Great facilities: spotlessly clean and the wifi was very good.

The hostel is directly in the flight path, so there is noise from planes landing. It did not affect sleeping with ear plugs though.

Facilities were good, the kitchen area was nice with a table to sit at, a hot and warm water dispenser and a microwave. Showers were hot and good water pressure.
