Millenium Manor Hotel

I travel there for work and went I got back that afternoon there was no water. So that means no shower or no bathroom use. This has also happened to a coworker of mine at the same place.

The property is centrally located in Georgetown so was very convenient but I was just there for the night so I can get to the airport the next morning. The room was ok, the bedding looked old but the best thing about this hotel was the bathroom, it was spacious and clean and there was hot water. If you are staying for a night or 2 this would be a great spot. I booked this the night before on Expedia and even though I provided my credit card info the room was not charged I had to pay at the front desk, and when I checked in they did not have internet connection so they could not process my credit card, luckily I had cash on me and paid. That would have been my only issue. But would stay there again.

When arriving at the hotel to check in, the staff told us the reservation was not paid as the reservation was paid in full by credit card. The staff said Expedia did not pay for the room. Check in took a very long time. Even when showing them the expedia reservation where it said the room was paid for by creditcard with the ending numbers of the card used. very disappointing.

Beyond my expectation. Guest friendly and courteous, friendly staff. Overall extremely pleased with my stay, especially with the personable morning breakfast served by Paulette. She was extremely friendly and constantly asking ‘ what else can I do for you’. Will stay here again. Recommendation: an Elevator would really help to make the stay even better.

Great staff, very comfy room, about as good a location as you can get.

During this stay i checked in twice with a 3 day interval and both times there was no running water. 1st time it was over 24 hours then there was water but i had to check out for business elsewhere. 3 days later i came back and xhecked in again and again no water. I only found out after using the washroom. I checked out after 3 hours and went elsewhere because the staff lied about the situation, they didn't remember i was there 3 days prior.

I don’t know how people have given this a 10/10, it was awful. The room smelled of damp that no amount of air conditioning and fans could fix. The rooms clearly hadn’t been updated in 20+ years, and the bed was like a rock. Breakfast was a beef stew or toast with butter, no other options. Longest 2 days of our lives - spare yourself and find somewhere else.
