Wochner's Hotel-Sternen Am Schluchsee Hochschwarzwald

It's a very good base for walking in the area, though the lake is not as pretty as Titisee up the road. Parking was easy, luckily, but they also give you a pass while you're there and you can take the train wherever you want. If you have a dog, the facilities are good and they were very kind. There's a nice park just up the hill, great for early morning or late night walkies. Very convenient to a grocery store, an atm, and right across the street from the tourist information center! The staff were very nice and the breakfast was good. It's a very old building, but the rooms are nice, and I slept very well.

Goede bedden en mooie badkamer. Alles in de kamer ziet er nieuw en fris uit. Buiten de kamer is alles meer gedateerd, maar dat is zeker geen reden om niet terug te keren. Personeel is erg attent.

Sehr gute Küche, reichhaltiges Frühstück, große Zimmer und gute Lage.
