Huen Chiang Man Hostel

This room feels so good to spend time in! It's so beautiful and colorful with all the beadspread, pillows and decor -- tasteful but also useful. I stayed in the balcony room at the front so maybe that room is more spacious but I had plenty of space to move around and unpack. Lighting is very important to me to make a space feel nice so best of all, the room is lit with two nice hanging lamps with nice shades that are both on dimmers. The space has big windows on three sides, each of which has a screen and a blackout curtain in case you want to sleep late. The room also has a nice set of features including a mini-fridge, kettle, and hot water shower. Internet signal was strong enough for work and streaming. 20 - 30 mbps. I've seen other reviews talking about cleanliness or overflowing water from the shower bathroom as problems but I found none of these. The shower room has a clear lip that prevents water from streaming out. The proprietor was very kind and responsive, helping me check-in and check-out and was even kind enough to come back across town after I checked out to re-open the room because I'd forgotten something.

The bed was a little hard -- I like that but some folks wouldn't.

I loved this guest house. It's very quirky which I love. The bed and room were very comfortable and the owner is a lovely, kind man. I can really recommend .

Great position in a very quiet part of the old Town. The room was small but very cozy and clean. The host very kind and helpful to book transports. Really reccomend It

The bathroom Is outside the room, but It was not really a problem. The rooms are not soundproofed, so you could hear practically everything from your neighbors, but It wasn't a problem sleeping with earplugs

Just the stairs are a bit narrow for the room we had, better to be stable on your feet, but if you are it's not a problem.
