Late check-in is possible until 21:00 at an additional charge upon prior request. Please inform the hostel in advance if guests arrive at the property after 20:00. If the property is not informed, the booking may be treated as a no show. For transportation to Niseko Hanazono Ski Field or Mount Yotei, please inform the hotel at check-in. For the free shuttle from JR Kutchan Train Station, please request at time of booking. The shuttle service operates in winter on the following schedule: Hotel to Grand Hirafu Ski Resort: 8am and 9am twice per day. The shuttle service operates in summer on the following schedule: Hotel to Mt. Yotei and Niseko Annupuri : from 3.30am to 7am. Please note that the property has separate dormitory room for men and women. Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. An accommodation tax per person, per night is not included in the price and must be paid at the property. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. A deposit may be required at the property.

An exceptional experience at the Tabi Tsumagi. Ryo is very friendly and welcoming and the building was always immaculate. It had a very home-y feel. I will be back!

"Ryo Rocks"

Ryo is the owner of Tabi-tsumugi inn. He is the best of the best, a top shelf human, a host who's; warm, friendly, helpful, generous, kind, and funny. Located a short walk from the JR Train Station in Kutchan, Tabi-tsumugi offers spacious tatami bunk rooms as well as family and couple rooms. With a well equipped communal kitchen it's small, friendly and fun. Great mix of Japanese and international guests. I cannot rate it highly enough, if you're planning a trip to ski, in and around the Niseko area, put this on the top of your list. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 👍👍

Not much! Shame there's not an onsen in Kutchan, that'd be my only minor quibble - but out of Ryo's hands

"Roy's a Ripper!"

Ryo, the owner is a top-shelf human; great host, attention to detail, authentic, super helpful, and friendly.

Not much! Access to an onsen to soak post ski would be great, sadly the public onsen in Kutchan is no more.

"Best hostel I've stayed at in Japan"

We had an amazing stay here. Riyo is a great host and went out of his way for us multiple times. Pick ups from the train station and morning shuttles to Mt Hirafu made things so easy. The dorm rooms are the most spacious I have had and they are super private and warm. The common areas are clean and inviting. You feel at home the moment you walk in. The kitchen has everything you need and the effort Riyo puts in for cleanliness doesn't go unnoticed. Highly recommend this place.

"Superb"

The host is super cool and nice guy. He can speak English so feel free to talk to him, he knows nice hiking trails around and can pick you up with car from hike or take you there.

During summer visit it gets super hot and my room had only 2 small fans for 4 people :(

"Ideal place for a short stop."

Our host Ryo was specially helpful, spoke excellent English and drove us to town twice on our brief visit. The place is clean & lovely, with an excellent kitchen and a little tatami area with iori in the common area.

No complaints.

The bunk beds are exceptionally large. This have room to move around. Owner speak English very well. Too bed I didn't plan more days in Kutchan. Thanks!
