La Casa del Gelsomino

This is definitely one of the most beautiful places one can stay in Ragusa - or the whole Italy if I might add. Exceptional breakfast, kind people, beautiful view, honestly one of the most beautiful experiences in my 9 years of booking.

The women running this property are delightful and they have thought through the details of making your experience wonderful—from providing breakfast choices and sitting times that you indicate the night before to ensure your breakfast experience runs smoothly to having your room refreshed while you are at breakfast. The breakfast experience every morning was an amazing way to start the day. The outdoor area is truly a gem. They have a refrigerator set up with a broad assortment of beverages for purchase on the honor system and water prepared for you in the refrigerator of your room. We booked the last room available but it seemed some rooms might have had access to small balconies or places to open up the doors to the outside. The location is superb.

Nos encantó el alojamiento. El jardin era espectacular y el desayuno para morirse de bueno!! Además, el personal era super amable. A dos pasos del centro.

Igual la habitación era un poquito justa de tamaño, pero suficiente para una noche!

Great little b&b in Ragusa Ibla! Comfortable room with a little balcony, but it is the garden and the amazing breakfast that you should go for. Sadly the weather wasn't warm enough for us to use the stunning little "hydrotherapy" pool, but on a hot day it would be a real treat after exploring beautiful Ragusa. The outdoor kitchen/breakfast/lounge area is lovely, and the breakfast the best we had during our Sicily holiday.

My experience at Casa del Gelsomino was exceptional. There was clear driving instructions and it was easy to find. After unloading my things and checking in, i was given instructions and a map of where i could find free parking close by. Breakfasts were amazing and they were always there to answer my questions. This was the friendliest place and I couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else in Ragusa

Emplacement calme et propre. Les chambres sont au niveau de la rue et le jardin terrasse aménagé un étage en dessous : incroyable ! avec hamac, salon de jardin, chaises longues, tables et chaises, canapé... sur 2 niveaux de jardin super bien décoré et entretenu. Un décor paradisiaque et surprenant... tout autant que le petit déj préparé sur place avec des produits frais locaux : prévoyez 1 heure pour l'apprécier et tout goûter. C'est fantastique. Et la vue est imprenable. A 5mn à pied de la place principale avec la grande église, et à 30mn à pied du haut de la 2eme colline pour avoir une vue panoramique (sur la première colline).

Adresse un peu difficile à trouver en voiture. Il y a des sens interdits un peu partout et le GPS n'aide pas beaucoup... mais on finit par trouver :-)

The place is 3 min walk from the Cathedral.we had a room with a balcony and stunning view . Very nice breakfast on an open terrace.. staff very helpful and solved all our small issues.

I like everything.. you get what you paid for
