We liked everything about the place; both apartment and Palaiochora. Kristina and Panos (sister and brother) are running the place like a tight ship, and all the services and attention were organized and planned to make their guests welcomed, comfortable, and taken care of. We are visiting Greece for years now. And traditionally Greeks are very hospitable, and they keep the rentals very clean. But this apartment exceeded our expectations: there are two cleaning ladies that do a great job, but every room's cleanliness goes under Kristina's watchful eye, and check :-) The sheets and towels were changed every second day regardless whether they are clean or not. The dish soap, toilet paper and liquid soap were regularly topped up; which was unusual for Greek stays, but very welcomed by us. The building has amazing garden and sitting areas. The main floor apartments were completely redone and tastefully decorated with access to small but private gardens. We had everything to stay comfortably for 23 nights. As Kristina was taking care of all required inside the building, Panos was taking care of the building outside, and you can always see him doing some maintenance and repairs around. I walked everywhere barefooted as common areas and balconies were spotless.

The kitchen had a little space to put our olive oil, vinegar, salt etc. But I understand that they are planning to renovate the kitchens in the upper floors which will allow more space and visually appealing kitchenettes. I would also appreciate the ceramic plates, but it's totally understandable why they went with the plastic. The bathroom didn't have enough space for our toiletries, but we rearranged a small furniture and had what we needed. At the same time, I must admit we had a lot of it :-)

We had an exceptional stay here, the hosts are incredibly friendly in every second of the day, the place is situated right across the street from a great beach, and the equipment was just enough. The stay also included discounted breakfast in the next-door restaurant, and free beach service. Definitely coming again next year - mainly because of the hosts! :)

A few things didn’t work, but nothing we couldn’t live without or that couldn’t be fixed easily.

Sifis has the best position, just go over the street and you are in the best sandybeach in Paleohora. Very nice and helpfull staff. Rooms are just, What promised with good beds; not too hard or too soft.
