Otter Creek Eau Claire Altoona

The wine and charcuterie tray which were left out all evening was very nice. I was able to take a glass of wine back to my room to enjoy while reading before bed. Although I did not have time to enjoy the grounds for myself, they looked very inviting to step out and sit for awhile as did the great room. Very pleasant if I had slightly longer than just a quick overnight enroute from Minneapolis to the UP.

There were 2 things I was unaware of prior to coming which were negatives for me. 1. There were multiple steps to get in managing my luggage by myself. Although they were well spaced out, it was still difficult with my knee problems. 2. I was unaware the breakfast was a full breakfast only. I enjoy something light, such as a scone or pastry with coffee in the morning which was not available.

Only problem was traffic noise outside

I have always wanted to have the Otter Creek Inn experience when coming to Eau Claire , and this year I was able to have it. It is quaint, quiet, peaceful, and a real unique property not to be missed! Amidst a community filled with standard motels and hotels, this lodging is truly a quiet repose for those of us seeking an opportunity to re fletcher and energize. Delightful and very accommodating staff.

The owner is very sweet and you can tell she pays attention to detail because everything was beautifully decorated. I already booked again for next year. Not a single thing because it was fantastic!

We loved our room, and bathtub. Really liked the reception, main area. So welcoming and beautiful. We enjoyed the snacks and drinks as well. We really enjoyed sitting and relaxing outside in the garden area. Breakfast was amazing, so delicious!

The only thing that could have been better was the proximity to the road. Ultimately though, it was not a big deal. We really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely come back:)
