The hosts John and Julie went above and beyond to make sure your stay was as best it could be and would definitely wouldn’t think twice about booking the almar again

The shower pressure wasn’t that powerful but maybe as we was on the top floor of guest house but didn’t spoil our stay

Highly professional. Spotlessly clean. Fresh towels, toilet paper, tea and biscuits each day when required. Can come and go as you please. Filling and delicious breakfast - we could not eat all of it! Bar available in the evening for guests. Incredibly welcoming, Proprietors Julie and John on hand if required. Personal touches throughout.

Everything. Perfect hosts, perfect location. Breakfast was great. Nice touches in the room including little chocolate bars and hot chocolate.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, near Peasholm park and the North Bay seashore. And the breakfast was excellent.

It wasn't a problem for me, but my single room was on the 2nd floor via narrow stairs, so bear this in mind if you have mobility issues.

So friendly, kind and helpful, keen to make sure I had everything I needed and provide a personal service - rare these days! Very clean and well maintained. Delicious breakfast with wide range of options. A winner all round.
